A summertime gift from Balmori Software: a free SURE! Calendar


Now that the agony of tax season is over, we all of us turn our thoughts to more pleasant things. The remaining weeks of summer. National elections. The beaches and mountains. Road trips with the family. Getting back to making money.

SURE! Calendar is a "forward and backward calendar" - designed to pinpoint future days and dates, as well as days and dates past.

It's handy for the day-to-day activities that finance and business people usually need a calendar for - e.g. treasurers, bankers, accountants, money-market traders, finance managers.

Also, we're pretty sure other types of people will find it useful - high school and college students, event planners, insurance actuaries, society ladies, and such.

(There are analog versions of this type of special-capability calendar - the MOED and Tempus brands are familiar to financial types - but we're pretty sure no society ladies or college students routinely rely on those).

SURE! Calendar is a faster and more powerful version of these traditional financial calendars. Just like those paper-and-plastic financial calendars, SURE! Calendar can:

  1. Compute the number of days' difference between two dates. E.g. , "My Treasury Bill matures on September 21. How many days are there between today and September 21?" Or more romantically perhaps, "How many days between today and my wedding anniversary?" Or, "How many days til my dream trip to Paris?" Or, "What is the exact gap between the birth of my second and third child?"

  2. Compute the date and day of a given number of days into the future. For example, "My time deposit matures in 68 days. What is the date and day 68 days from today?" Or, "I've just been reminded my niece's wedding is 125 days from now. What day and date is that?"

  3. Compute the date and day of a given number of days into the past. For example, "What was the day and date 176 days BEFORE today?"

  4. Show basic information about a specific date. For example, if you were born on August 7th, 1984, SURE! Calendar will tell you that that date was a Tuesday; that it was the 220th day of that year; and that it was 146 days before the end of 1984.

  5. And of course, SURE! Calendar synchronizes with your computer's system date to automatically default to the date of whenever you fire it up.
NOTE: Like all other Balmori Software solutions, SURE! Calendar is built on a 32-bit development platform, and is fully Windows-compatible with all versions from Windows 98 to Windows 10.
